About

I'm a 27 year old high school basketball coach and software engineer. My scouting process is filled with repeatable, boring tasks that reveal important insights.
This is for both self-scouting my own team, and scouting our opponents. Because a lot of the things are repeatable, I thought I'd develop a program that plugs into
NCAA Play-by-Play data so that any team could get an advanced view that is difficult to get anywhere else.
If you are wondering if the data could be useful for your program to gain an edge over the competitors, create an account and sign up for a 7-day free trial!
If it will help, great! If not, you can cancel before you have to spend a dime.
But I truly believe it will help you like it helped me "mow over" (Pictured Left) the competition and go 22-0 last year.
If you have any questions, please contact me at nick@kanealytics.com.
The site is called kanealytics because it's inspired by kenpom, barttorvik, and evanmiya. Those sites are named after their creator.
However, my first and last name are very boring. So I made it a portmanteau of my middle name, Kane, and analytics.
Note: Because I rely on NCAA Play-By-Play data, I have omitted games where the NCAA Play-by-Play data is unavailable
and games where the NCAA Play-by-Play data clearly has many errors.
